Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Ulaanbaatar

  • Warm welcome upon arrival and check-in at hotel to rest.

Accommodation: Holiday Inn Hotel / Novotel Hotel / Best Western Hotel or similar

Day 2: Mongol Nomadic – Karakorum (370km)

  • Mini Naadam: The Naadam Festival consists of the Three Manly Games, namely, wrestling, archery, and horse racing which Mongolian nomads have practiced for thousands of years.
  • Mongolian Archery & Traditional Clothes: try them for a memorable experience.

Accommodation: Deluxe Ger Camp at Karakorum / Elsentasarkha or similar

Day 3: Karakorum – Elsentasarkhai (150km)

  • Erdenezuu: one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Mongolia.
  • The Turtle Rock: gigantesque rock made and carved into a turtle by only wind and rainwater, which is just off the main road into the park. Many people have called it the Switzerland of Mongoli; it is an excellent place for horse or camel riding, and hiking inside the rock and nearby.
  • Karakorum Museum: The museum contains artefacts from the Hunnu period, Liao dynasty, the Uyghur Khaganate, the Mongol Empire and Rouran Khaganate.
  • Khaadiin Khad Hill: where you can have a panoramic view of the Orkhon River Valley.
  • Elsen Tasarkhai: also known as the mini Gobi with dunes stretching from the Tuv, Uvurkhangai, and Bulgan provinces all the way west to become part of the Khugnu Khan mountain range.
  • Inclusive Camel riding over the dunes: Experience Camel Riding.

Day 4: Karakorum – Ulaanbaatar City Tour (370km)

  • National Museum of Mongolia: The historical collection is subdivided into 3 areas: archaeological; medieval history of Mongolia; and modern historical objects and photography, recordings, and documents.
  • Sukhbaatar Square: major state ceremonies (parades in honour of Mongolian State Flag Day or the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers), cultural events, concerts, and exhibitions. Visiting heads of state generally pay respects in front of the statue of Sükhbaatar.
  • Traditional Folk Concert: Experience several of Mongolia’s traditional art forms.

  • Day 5: Ulaanbaatar – Terelj National Park
    Gandan Monastery: The Tibetan name translates to the “Great Place of Complete Joy”. It currently has over 150 monks in residence.
  • Chinggis Khan Statue Complex: the largest equestrian statue of Genghis Khan. Visit the complex museum and enjoy a panoramic view over the Mongolian steppe from the statue’s horse mane.
  • Lamb Barbeque “Khorkhog”: It consists of mutton, lamb or goat cooked in large metal containers with vegetables and hot stones.

Day 6: Terelj National Park – Nomadic Home Visit – Ulaanbaatar

  • Ariyapal Meditation Temple: The Temple is situated about a 30-minute walk on the hills with a phenomenal view of the valley.
  • The Rock Turtle: These sculptures once marked the boundaries of ancient Karako- rum, acting as protectors of the city (turtles are considered symbols of eternity). Each of the turtles originally had an inscribed stone stela mounted vertically on its back.
  • Nomadic Home Visit: Visit the yurts where nomads live and see how they live now.
  • Optional horse riding over the grassland at your own expense: Experience horse riding.

Day 7: Ulaanbaatar City
Whatever your interests, Ulaanbaatar has lots in store for you. Today you will explore Ulaanbaatar city leisurely.

  • Lhamour factory store: shopping at Mongolia’s first organic skincare brand.
  • Zaisan Memorial Hill: honors allied Mongolian and Soviet soldiers killed in World War II.
  • Carpet Outlet Store: Purchase some carpets made in Mongolia as souvenirs.
  • Galleria Ulaanbaatar Cashmere Outlet: The World’s largest cashmere store with an exquisite selection of fabulous cashmere garments, coats, suits and accessories.
  • Souvenir Shop: A great shop for those interested in buying handmade Mongolian instruments.
  • Little Sheep Hot Pot: The world’s largest hot pot restaurant “Little Sheep” where you can enjoy individual hot pot.

Day 8: Flight back to home
Check-out from the hotel. Transfer to the international airport for your departure point. Say `Bayartaiy’ (goodbye) to the Land of BlueSky and depart to your home country full of adventure and great memories.
