Prepare to be awestruck by the vastness of Northern Tanzania—a realm of grandeur where nature reigns supreme. Here, every element is on an epic scale. Tarangire National Park: Ascend to the treetops in Tarangire, where luxurious bedrooms nestle among ancient baobabs. Descend into the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater—an otherworldly basin teeming with wildlife. Imagine 30,000 animals thriving within the confines of an extinct volcano.

Embrace the individual moments: the will-they-won’t-they tension of a lion pack on the hunt; the white-knuckle charge of an angry bull elephant and more. Straight from Ngorongoro, venture into the boundless Serengeti and secure front-row seats to nature’s most captivating spectacle—the Great Migration.

  • Late afternoon arrival to Elewana Tarangire Treetops in time for sundowners
  • A traditional Masai boma dinner at the camp

Accommodation: Elewana Tarangire Treetops

Day 3: Tarangire

  • Start the day traditionally, with breakfast followed by a walk with a Masai guide. There’s nothing more electrifying than exploring the bush on foot, getting up-close to the flowers, insects and animal tracks. You can also visit a Masai village to find out more about the custodians of this land.
  • After a good lunch at camp, head out on a glorious game drive in custom-designed jeeps, looking for a whole host of species – from zebra, buffalo, eland and kudu to lion, leopard and hyena.
  • Sundowners in the bush before resuming with a night game drive
    • Night drives (permitted within the conservancy) are a chance to see the after-dark shift, from prickly porcupines to elusive leopards.
