A Hutong tour by rickshaw provides an intimate glimpse into traditional alleyways and courtyard residences. The Summer Palace, with its lakes and gardens, showcases classical Chinese landscaping, while the Temple of Heaven, with its striking circular architecture, symbolizes the connection between heaven and earth.   • Pick up at airport, transfer to hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day

Transportation: Private air-conditioned vehicle
  • After breakfast, visit the world’s largest and best-preserved ancient wooden palace complex — the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace), hailed as the foremost of the world’s five great palaces. Photo stops at Yanxi Palace, plus visits to Kangshou Palace (residence of Consort Zhen Huan) and Cining Palace (residence of Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang).
  • Continue to Tian’anmen Square, the largest city square in the world, located on Beijing’s central axis and capable of accommodating one million people for grand gatherings.
  • In the afternoon, head to Qianmen Commercial Street, check in at the internet-famous Dashilan Food Street, with over 500 years of history — originating in the Yuan Dynasty, established in the Ming Dynasty, and flourishing since the Qing Dynasty.
  • Visit Beijing Fun (Beijingfang), a cultural complex integrating classic Beijing designs such as the Forbidden City and traditional courtyard houses, featuring unique cultural concepts found only in Beijing, including the Starbucks World Flagship Store.
  • Dinner at leisure on the food street to sample authentic Beijing cuisine.

  • After breakfast, travel to the Mutianyu Great Wall (including round-trip cable car and shuttle bus). Mutianyu is the longest section of the Great Wall and is praised as “Of the ten thousand miles of the Great Wall, Mutianyu stands supreme.” It represents the most spectacular and well-preserved part of the Great Wall and is a 5A-rated national scenic area.
  • In the afternoon, visit the imperial garden, Summer Palace.
  • Exterior photo stops at the Bird’s Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center).

  • After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven.
  • In the afternoon, explore Shichahai, one of the famous scenic areas of old Beijing, located south of Zhongnanhai. Stroll through classic Beijing hutongs, and visit Yandaixie Street.
  • Traditional costume changing experience (Hanfu experience, no makeup included).
